Big baby! He didn't want to do the promotion stuff in the States, so he pre-emptively "quit" when told that he would get pulled from UFC200... he probably doesn't want to fight Diaz again either.

he probably doesn't want to fight Diaz again either.

I think that's it. He got a schoolin' last time and doesn't want to go through the humiliation again.

He just announced that he isn't 'retired'. If he wants to get paid, maybe the rules apply to him as well, but maybe the rule maker can bend a little as well.

Maybe he'll claim the clamor over his retirement should suffice as the promtion requirement.
