your android device would need a menu that would get you a server panel, so you can add that server address. Now how to get that menu/application is a different story with each device.
Some need emulators but some will not will allow for an emulator.

I see thru the video that the box has xbmc onboard in the menus, it also has the MX Player onboard, it also has a Side Launcher option onboard.
I'd say the chances are good that it will run an emulator.
But you'll need do do some reading on them emulators and the MXPlayer.
Information is here spread thru-out some of these forums. Use the Search function to get started.

Maybe someone knows how to use XBMC and an APP to do the same thing, but I don't know

Yes sir the emulator works like a champ with zero heck up, I am watching on it Greek channel right now:
1- through Google download the Android stb
2-Download mx player and mx codec player, now go to setting and turn on H/W+
3-through the stb emulator head to profile then portal and change the last six numbers of your mac preferred you use the real mac on your device but only the last six need to be changed
4-Very important point is to change the internal PLAYER to mx from the default which is vlc

I have been testing with the iptv from the start and must say the selection of channels and content is awesome and it is getting better by the minute (new channels added this week :) ).....I have been using a selection of boxes like the Mag 250, 254 and a couple of different android based boxes including both dual and quad cores .......keep up the great work iptvtalk and thx.

Anyway, went thru them all and only found one that didn't work. There were 2 or 3 that had bad buffering problems at start of the program. Them ones are listed in the first few. The later ones all seemed to work okay but some took a few seconds to pop up (cento seemed to be one of those).

some of the new channels seem to not work on kodi but work fine on the mag 254

Also they work on the emulator as well. I have tested them on the stalker but also on the emulator so on the stalker some they do not work and on the emulator they are fully working.

No need to do anything with the stalker I have done everything you could imagine and still no go, it's on the author of the add-on side.
You could install the emulator if you want them all to work for you, it works like a champ not even one heck up on any channel or movie, let us know if you need any help with that.

Ok, I installed Bluestacks but now cant find the emulator and mx player. Is it within the apps store or something get elsewhere. Never used this before.

Yes it is in the app store, just type in stb emulator, you can install the aptoide from the browser in your bluestacks and then search for the MX player and install it.

Make sure you sign into your app store first, or just open your browser in the bluestacks and type in stb emulator and click on the one that says :

When you click on download it will send you to the app store to download it sign in and download it, after that just install from the same browser aptoide and from the aptoide install the mx player and the apk mx player.

Cool good info, but just also wanted to re-ask I guess, is there any freezing issues right now on those boxes during this test phase? or are the channels that are up now for the test all fully stable on those boxes?

I mainly watch the US channels but seems like none of them are very stable.... yet

Use the last six numbers of the Mac of your machine by typing in command prompt ipconfig /all
Also use the mx as your external player in the emulator.

really? on mag i see big difference. You can easily tell that its not playing 60fps.

Did some checking with mag254 and avovOnline this morning TSN1 and Concert would say the online had a slightly better pic, was running about 30 behind so on their server and out after whatever they do.

Far as I can see with limited check most Sport, Music, UK channels have very nice pic whereas many of the non English/Spanish had much lower quality, did see a little blur on fast moving sports but not often.
Still in test stage looking each day for EPG which for me is a biggie to complete system.

When this service goes live, will there be a program guide and will record for tv channels, and download for videoclub be enabled. Without a guid, the channles are kind of nice but you don't know what is coming up. Pause and record, although enabled by the box (mag254, in my case), seem to be greyed out for movies and even if I put in a usb stick, and all the channels show a recordable icons, trying to record gives 'URL Error' and will not work with the system yet.

System is still being tested, so I suggest having no expectations on what will be available when it does go live. UFC events to date have not been carried on IPTV from NFPS on a special channel, however there are other options that have shown UFC using Kodi add-ons, such as Sports Devil, and previously on Phoenix. UFC is also carried on euro sports channels, so you may want to look at those during events to see if they are up, if you are using emulation or Kodi Stalker PVR client.

Yes, at this time there are 294 channels showing on the boxes as well as emulator, but only 280 on the Stalker client. The 14 missing are adults.

You can set different keys from the portal settings.
For example. 0 will be enter with android option button or volume up button.

Can't rember that option exactly, but its there in the settings...

On mag254 now 299 channels 138-9 TNT-TBS added many channels now have a generic label in list but not onscreen i.e. channel 500 and up a bit are now Italy 1 to 6 similar with some sports and music, quite a few channels not active this morning still lots are up.

I hope the generic titles aren't something that will be permanent, but I can see why they are doing this in development. It's hard enough without an EPG to figure out what is on, even with on-line guides available, but the generic titles for sports channels will force a need for a guide of some type.

It will go down at times when it comes outta this testing mode. That's a given with any iptv service.
I would not call this 'alot' thou, as it is now.

Sort of a different group than the old satellite testing days or even IKS. Being down was an every day occurrence in the "card" days and with IKS Thursday was the big ECM day. IPTV is a refreshing change and you can have more than one server to choose from in case one of them gets overloaded. I am very happy with what we have now and look forward to the time when this becomes a full time service and has real HD.

Rome wasn't built in a day: patience is the word.

If any of you are new to testing TV and don't know what came before this technology you would be amazed at what the costs were for "free TV!" Dish Network or Direct TV boxes, programmers to program the card the boxes used, a satellite dish, several spare cards in case one or your got locked by an ECM, later in the game you could buy your own unlocker. It was a real hobby and became rather expensive. We loved the challenge though. IKS was a little easier and somewhat less money, but you had to pay for the service. Mind you that payment was just a pittance compared to what you would pay every month to Ver**n or Com**st. and their selection was not as good anyway.

IPTV is an exciting new service which will continue to evolve.

Nobody is forcing you into this... You always have a choice in life, you can choose to jump on this train with those of us who are already on it and have been on it for the longest time, or spend that 100 a month for a sub (to get the bare minimum)

To start I am NOT complaining!
I am a BIG SPORTS FAN,and all the sports channels are most welcome.
BUT if they are NOT watchable,or in a Foreign language(e.g:Russian)which most of us on this side of the world don't speak then what good are they???
I would rather see English language sports channels like HRTV,TVG,RacingUK,NBC Sports,etc,etc.
I hope also that the real tv channel's name will be posted in the future then just Sport 1,Sport 2,etc,etc.
Again I am NOT complaining,but just consider this as a positive critique to better the service.

it is great to see alot of channels are being added i would love to see more locals from other states added in the future hopefully by football season
