EPG guide not loading

Well I am officially stumped. I have followed and read a bunch of guides and posts. But, unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be working for me.

I am using an Android FireTV box, so I have set the Remote URL correctly to the following:

special://userdata/addon_data/pvr.stalke*r/epg_xmltv.xml

But it does not work. I just get channels in my guide with no info. As a reminder, I am on Android, not PC, so I cannot use the Local Path for the .xml

Does anyone know if anything was recently changed for Android, or if I am missing anything in my set up?
