Factory reset issues

Hello All,

I factory reset Fire TV 2 and my remote will not pair.

Any suggestions?

Unplug and restart with remote next to it

I've tried that... I was on the phone with Amazon for hours and they really didn't do anything

Bring it back. I had one out of the box thAt couldn't pair with the remote

Problem is I bought it in the states and I live in Canada. BnH is it off stock and have to wait.
