Plot: Held captive for seven years in an enclosed space, a woman (Larson) and her 5-year-old son (Tremblay) finally gain their freedom, allowing the boy to experience the outside world for the first time.
My take: A very good movie, acting was spot on, Brie Larson won the Oscar for best actress in this role, the kid was beyond believable. A tear jerker movie that is prefect to watch with the wife. Only thing it was missing was at the end it could have shown what happened to "old Nick". but remember it is a drama!!!
