some times i turn it off others I leave it running just make sure it isn't streaming so i don't use bandwidth
When you do power it down it only goes into sleep mode so it can still get updated from avov

I didnt know about the sleep mode. It loads up the AVOV splash screen everytime its powered on, i just figured its being powered on and off.

I leave all my boxes on they are so tiny and don't seem to have much heat output so I'm no to worried about hardware failure.

I have to turn mine off constantly due to the memory being full. I only have 2 apps - Kodi and TVaddons. It's very annoying, my next box won't be an Avov.

I have never liked the TVaddons, way to much stuff in it that I would never use. I install Kodi and just add the repos I know are good and never add any of the different builds that are available.
The TVaddons are recommend for beginners with Kodi IMO.
My Avov tvOnline box works perfect with Kodi 15.2

No, as long as you don't have anything running it uses no internet.
My boxes are always left on.
