I am currently trying to setup stalker on my laptop. I have a paid month of IKS66 to do this. I recieved all the details pretty much instantly after payment. I am using then last 6 digits of my real mac address of my laptop and configured these with my purchase

IPTV PORTAL: 66.iptv66.tv
SERVER: 66.iks66.tv
PORT: 50066 (Dish) 60066 (Sky Mexico) 55066 (Dish Mexico) 33066 (Claro TV 50W) 35066 (Media Net)
DESKEY: *********
STATUS: RUNNING

Please use the following IPTV + Free IKS Route(s) as the Username and Password in your Receiver:

No. Username and Password MAC Address
1 7********** 00:1A:79:MY:RL:MC

inside the settings of ip stalker I have made the url 66.iptv66.tv (I have also tried 66.iks66.tv and both with the port suffix ":50066") I see no place where I should put my password deskey or anything else. the error I get is "mac" if I try to launch a channel from Ivue

I didn't think that information was sensitive, have changed it to be astrix's now. Thanks.

Ok now change the portal to http://mw1.iptv66.tv That's the one you need for iptv stalker

Also make sure you're using the correct stalker http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?7379-Modified-IPTV-Stalker-(9-0-21)-iVue-compatible-send-serial-number-enabled

Right, tried both of those now, instead of getting the "mac" error I am getting "authorization failed"

are you providing a serial number, either just send serial or custom in settings? or have you played around with it using the mac, then you might accidently attached a serial to it, and you might need to change the mac address to get a "clean" one. the last six numbers does not have to be your laptops, you can change it to anything you want as long as its not taken (you can check that on their webpage)

Did you fully configure IPTV Stalker 9.0.21? That is, did you enable Send Serial and Custom Serial on the configuration page and add a serial #, id 1, id 2 and signature?

what ilan said ^^^^^^^ :) you can get away with send serial only but then you can not use the mac address in pvr clients, emulators, or another box/install coz you need to know the serial/device id/sig. another benefit is that you lock your mac so it can not be hijacked and you never have to change it.

if you enabled send serial while trying to get it to work a unknown serial might be attached to the mac.
if it does not work as per instructions on serial/device id/signature this is probably the issue and you need to change it on iks and in iptv stalker. (just change a digit)

Yes I added the seriials all are the same code. How can I change the Mac address I have enabled?

here:
https://iks66.tv/main/search/ the link is also on the frontpage of iks66.com under "link a mac"
change it there and in the iptv stalker client to match.

then take it step by step ensure your custom serial is 13 numbers/letters
for easiness you can treat/think of it as pin codes.

btw if you dont know kodi has a stalker pvr client that comes with it, that way you will have the intended pvr tv function with epg channel zapping etc. in kodi. but of cause all people are different, and it is possible to have both. but first thing first I imagine you are focusing on just getting something to work. :)
dont worry it wont take long to get the hang of it.

Yes I added the seriials all are the same code.

You don't want everything to be the same (i.e., serial, id 1, id 2 and sig), if that is what you mean. For one thing, if ID 1 and ID 2 are the same, you will get an authorization error.

yeah. the easiest most re memorable and ok secure way I can think of is to come up with 4 different pin codes of 4 digits.
for serial enter the pin x3 and add a extra number/letter.

I have tried all of these suggestions but unfortunately none are currently working. I have tried on both my PC and laptop, fresh installs going through exactly as the instructions say. I cannot for the life of me work out where the error lies.

is there an IPTV stalker / Ivue alternative that is purely windows based (no emulators) ?

for those who are wondering, I managed to fix the problem by disabling the custom serial setting
